Tap the Kobo eBooks app icon.
Tap the Actions icon at the top of the screen.
Note: If you don’t see the Actions icon, press the Settings button or icon on your phone.
Tap Import Items.
Tap Start.
Select the items you want to import.
Tap Import Selected.
If you want to remove the original files, tap Yes. Otherwise, tap No.
Wait for the items to import to your Library.

Locate the PDF file either on your desktop or within the file browser.
Connect the Nook to your computer via USB cable. Make sure the Nook is on before you do this. It should appear in your file browser.
Locate the My Documents folder within the Nook. You can do this within your file browser by opening the Nook icon/folder, and then navigating to the My Documents folder.
Drag and drop the PDF/EPUB file from the original location to the Nook’s My Documents folder.
